Adelaide... again!

The top of the hill behind Beaumont, where I walked (and nearly got lost)!

Well, we still haven't made it out of South Australia - but we are having a lovely time still. This weekend saw us back at the Kapadia's again, where we again made ourselves comfortable in 'real' beds, and made good use of the pool. We had our last rendezvous with various family members that live in, and near to, Adelaide but our main objective was to greet Jake as he flew back in to Adelaide, from his time with Teen Mission in Brisbane and South Africa. It was great to see him - happy, healthy and full of encouraging stories.

Another highlight was catching up with the Howlands for a coffee - to fill them in on the impending adventure. They were 'delighted' by the fact that we had come back to Adelaide to see them! ... and thought it a huge joke that we left Keith for around Australia and then stopped for lunch in Tinty!! Tinty is a very scenic spot you must realise. I think you had to be there to understand.
It was great to also catch up with De and Joely, who we haven't seen for some time. But you know how good friends goes - "...you just catch up from where you left off last time!"
Things started to get a little emotional as we left, with a view to not seeing them for a year, until... we realised we hadn't seen the Howlands since January 2010 anyway! So we laughed, said a cheery 'goodbye' and made a date to see them same time next January,.
