Mogo Zoo

A Message for Isabelle & Mia from
Mogo Zoo
One day Narnie, Pop, Jed and Lily decided to go to the Mogo Zoo. This was a lovely place with lots of trees and a river all the way round. This helped to keep the animals from escaping!

One of the first animals we saw was a big, growly lion. He had a big tawny mane. Perhaps he was the "Lion King"?

There was a mummy lion in the cage as well. She looked a bit cranky.

Then there some other big "cats", a golden colour with black stripes. Tigers! There were 3 tiger cubs - one was having a rest and the others were playing. They were play wrestling, just like Isabelle and Mia do sometimes.

The zoo also had some special "white" lions. The man was feeding them big lumps of steak. This white lioness was called "Bella".

There were lots of different kinds of monkeys - big black ones, golden orange ones, ones with white fluffy fur on their heads and ones with scaly, lumpy bottoms!!

This chimpanzee, (on the right), was actually being a 'show-off' when I took this photo. He was lying down on his back on the grass behind the window, nodding his head and saying "Yep, take a photo of me, I'm a really handsome monkey!"

The otters were super stylish - splashing, diving and doing 'synchronised' swimming.

The deer were hungry munchkins and Lily thought they were "slimey and slobbery", as they ate the grain and pellets off her hand.

"Hey", said this meerkat, "I'm clever. Look at me standing on my back legs!"

This meerkat looked at the camera and said, "I'm not only clever, but I'm really, really cute and... your Narnie and Pop send you lots of hugs and kisses".
