Coffin Bay

A damp day in Coffin Bay today, after a windy day yesterday. However, we are immeasurably better off than than lots in Australia! took the opportunity to do some shopping in Pt Lincoln today. had a coffee along the beach front also - and who should we see, but Margaret & Ron Hier (back in Pt Lincoln after a false start last week)!
we purchased a couple of fishing rods also, one is an "extra" bday present for Lily (we figure they should be an investment, as we will catch lots of dinners??) and this afternoon saw us catching ... entree, a small one. I think 7 all up, but 5 either fell off the hook, or we threw back.

Please spare a thought for the Tintinara community! I found out today that:
  • Rick Munro has just had a very quick diagnosis and operation for a brain tumour
  • Alison Prosser  has passed away after not long ago being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and complications
  • Jim Ashby is very seriously ill and on life support, with encephalitis, or something similarly nasty
Tinty is evidently "reeling" with 3 of it's long term, but not that old, residents in these circumstances. Spare a thought or a prayer for them and their families.
